What we do (clinically confident, genuinely kind)

  • Tracheostomy care (nurse-led, competency-assured)
    Site care and dressings, tube security checks, inner cannula cleaning/change, cuff pressure checks per plan, speaking valve/cap use, humidification management, and clear escalation pathways.
  • Suctioning & secretion management
    Oral, naso-/tracheal suctioning as prescribed, saline instillation where indicated, humidification and nebuliser therapy, positioning and postural drainage, hydration prompts, and infection-reduction routines.
  • Ventilation support
    Set-up and daily checks for invasive/non-invasive ventilation, mask/interface care, filter and circuit changes on schedule, alarm interpretation and troubleshooting, and liaison with respiratory teams for settings.
  • Oxygen therapy & nebulisers
    Safe use and storage, flow-rate checks per prescription, monitoring of response, and documented weaning or step-up guidance from clinicians.
  • Assisted cough & chest physio carry-over
    Cough-assist devices (MI-E), breath-stacking, and gentle techniques as directed by physiotherapists to keep lungs clear and comfortable.
  • Observation & early warning
    Regular monitoring (respiratory rate, work of breathing, SpO₂, pulse, temperature), recognition of red flags (desaturation, increased secretions, distress), and prompt escalation.
  • Infection prevention
    Aseptic technique for invasive tasks, equipment cleaning schedules, safe waste disposal, and clear hand-hygiene standards for everyone involved.
  • Comfort, communication & confidence
    Unhurried support, calm reassurance, speaking-valve practice where appropriate, and coaching for family members so home feels safe between visits.
  • Everyday practical help
    Hydrating drinks, light meals, positioning for comfort, laundry and tidy-ups—because a settled home helps breathing, too.
Flexible ways to receive care

Clinical note: Initial tracheostomy tube changes, ventilator setting adjustments, and rescue medications are delivered only under our Clinical Director care plan. We coordinate closely with respiratory teams, community nurses, and physiotherapists.

  • 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 staffing where risk assessments indicate
  • Hourly visits for targeted routines (suction, site care, nebulisers, checks)
  • Daytime cover to structure care, therapies, and community life
  • Overnights (sleeping or waking) for airway vigilance, turns, and family rest
  • Live-in care for continuous support and consistency
  • Rapid step-up for step-up care after discharge or during infection
