Providing Exceptional Care

Flexible ways to receive care

Palliative care focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life—at any stage of a life-limiting illness. We bring calm, compassionate support into the home, easing symptoms, reducing worry, and honouring what matters most to each person and their family.

  • 24 hour care or Hourly visits for targeted support (symptoms, medication, personal care).
  • Daytime cover to keep the day calm and organised.
  • Overnights (sleeping or waking) for reassurance and rest.
  • Live-in care for continuous, familiar support.
  • Rapid response to step-up care when needs change.

What we do (practical, gentle support)

  • Comfort & symptom management
Unhurried help with pain, breathlessness, nausea, anxiety, restlessness, constipation, skin and mouth care, and comfortable positioning—following agreed plans from your clinical team.
  • Medication support
Timely prompts or administration (where agreed in line with the care plan), MAR charts, safe monitoring of effectiveness and side effects, and swift escalation if anything changes.
  • Personal care with dignity
Respectful assistance with washing, dressing, continence, grooming, and safe mobility—always protecting privacy and choice.
  • Emotional & spiritual support
A steady, reassuring presence; life-story listening; support for faith or cultural practices; and connection to chaplaincy or community leaders if desired.
  • Meaningful moments
Quiet companionship, music, reading, gentle sensory activities, and simple routines that bring comfort and calm.
  • Nutrition & hydration
Small, comforting meals or IDDSI textures where needed, favourite drinks, and unhurried mealtime support.
  • Family support & respite
Time for relatives to rest; practical guidance on comfort measures and communicating with healthcare teams; clear updates and check-ins.
  • Coordination with professionals
We work closely with GPs, community nurses, hospice teams, and therapists to keep care joined-up and responsive.
  • After-death care & bereavement signposting
Sensitive care in the hours and days that follow, alongside gentle guidance to local bereavement services.
