Providing Exceptional Care

Who we support

Children thrive where they feel safe, seen, and free to be themselves. Our paediatric care brings calm, skilled support into your home—protecting comfort, dignity, and independence while fitting around school, play, siblings, and family life.

  • Babies, children, and young people with complex or ongoing health needs
  • Neurodisability and developmental conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes)
  • Autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, sensory processing differences
  • Epilepsy and seizure management
  • Respiratory needs (oxygen, nebulisers, tracheostomy, ventilation)
  • Enteral feeding (NG/PEG), nutrition, and growth concerns
  • Post-operative, oncology, and rehabilitation after illness or injury
  • Palliative and end-of-life care for children and young people

What we do (specialist, practical, child-friendly)

  • Daily routines—done gently
Age-appropriate help with washing, dressing, toileting/continence, oral care, skincare, and safe mobility—always unhurried and respectful.
  • Medication & observations
Prompts or administration (as agreed), MAR charts, and simple health checks (e.g., SpO₂, temperature, respiration) with clear escalation if anything changes.
  • Airway & respiratory support (competency-assured)
Tracheostomy care, suction, humidification, ventilator/NIV support, oxygen and nebulisers, positioning and secretion management.
  • Feeding & nutrition
NG/PEG feeds and pump care, texture modification and safe swallow plans, calm mealtimes, hydration and growth-supporting routines.
  • Seizure awareness & protocols
Trigger spotting, timing/recording, rescue meds where prescribed, and a clear emergency plan.
  • Mobility, posture & comfort
Transfers, hoists/slings, seating checks, pressure-area care, and therapy carry-over (stretching, positioning) as guided by Physio/OT.
  • Learning, play & communication
Sensory play, structured choices, visual supports, social stories, AAC/tech, and pacing that respects attention, fatigue, and sensory needs.
  • School, nursery & community life
Morning/evening routines, escorts to school or activities, appointment support, and confidence-building in clubs, sport, and social time.
  • Family support & real respite
Flexible day, evening, weekend, and overnight cover; practical coaching; clear updates—so parents and carers can rest and siblings get time too.
  • Help around the home
Light meals, laundry, tidying, and safe, tidy spaces that make daily life calmer for everyone.

Clinical note: Advanced tasks are delivered only where assessed, included in the care plan, and staff are competency-signed. We work closely with Children’s Community Nursing, GPs, therapists, and hospice teams.
